2019 Annual Action Plan Survey

IHCDA and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) encourage partners and stakeholders to respond to the 2019 Annual Action Plan Stakeholder Survey. The survey is used to collect updated information on housing and community development needs in the state, with a focus on small towns and rural areas. After this program year, the state will begin a new five-year planning effort to develop new strategic goals to guide funding. The survey may be accessed here.

Procurement and Contract Management Training

The South Bend Housing Authority is offering a Procurement and Contract Management Training April 23-25, 2019 in South Bend. The training will be led by Michael S. Gifford, C.P.M. of Housing Agency Procurement Assistance (HAPA) and is designed for purchasing and finance staff, management staff and property managers.

Action Plan Public Comment Period

Pursuant to 24 CFR part 91.115(a)(2), the State of Indiana wishes to encourage citizens to participate in the development of the 2019 Annual Action Plan. 

A draft of the 2019 Annual Action Plan will be posted on IHCDA’s Action Plan site. Please also see PN-19-01 on the Notice of Filing and the locations for the Public Hearings to be held on the Annual Action Plan. Drafts of the 2019 CDBG Owner Occupied Repair (OOR), HOME Rental, and the NHTF Allocation Policies may also be found on the programs respective web pages embedded above.

IHCDA will be accepting comments on the 2019 Action Plan, and the CDBG OOR, HOME Rental and NHTF Polices through May 13, 2019. Comments regarding these RED policy can be forwarded to Samantha Spergel, Director of Real Estate Production at sspergel@ihcda.in.gov. IHCDA also encourages participation through the Annual Action Plan stakeholder survey. The survey may be accessed here: https://www.research.net/r/2019_IN_ActionPlan. Strategic Management for CHDO and Non-Profit Development Executives Training IHCDA is pleased to partner with TDA Consulting, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) CHDO TA Provider, to offer a new intensive training series on Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) regulations and nonprofit management best practices.
