2018 Utility Allowances

IHCDA’s 2018 utility allowances are now available online. The new utility allowances have an effective date of December 1, 2018. Properties using these utility allowances must implement within 90 days of the effective date.

Compliance Newsletter

The Real Estate Compliance Team at IHCDA launched a newsletter last month. If you or a team member is interested in also receiving that newsletter please e-mail communications@ihcda.in.gov.

This monthly newsletter provides information and updates from the Real Estate Department (RED) at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA).

2020-2021 Qualified Allocation Plan Drafts and Public Hearings

The 1st draft of the 2020-2021 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) will be released on January 22nd. The draft
will be posted on the Rental Housing Tax Credit webpage and a RED Notice will be released
to announce that the draft is available for review. A public hearing on the 1st draft will take place January 29th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at our office. For more information and to see a complete listing of dates related to the 2020-2021 QAP please see RED Notice 18-50.

The 2018 Home Investment Partnerships Program (“HOME”) Rental Policy, Application Form, and additional application documents are now available on IHCDA’s HOME website. Click here for more information and dates for the 2018 HOME funding round.

Frank and Judy O'Bannon Old Northside Soccer Park

Thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Indianapolis Frank and Judy O'Bannon Old Northside Soccer Park will soon be expanded to include a new play space, splash pad and picnic shelter. The campaign is led by the Indianapolis Parks Foundation in collaboration with a dedicated group of Old Northside, Herron Morton, Martindale, Brightwood and Windsor Park neighbors.
