2019 Administrative Plan Open for Public Comment
The Administrative Plan for IHCDA’s Housing Choice Voucher
(Section 8) Program is open for public comment effective August 1, 2018 through
September 17, 2018. Input from program partners and the general public will be
considered when revising the Administrative Plan before submission to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for approval.
Pool Opening at Highland Glen
Highland Glen Apartments recently celebrated the grand reopening of their newly renovated swimming pool and clubhouse. The project, which consists of 56 HOME-assisted units for families in Scottsburg, Indiana, is a mix of rehabilitation and new construction. New Hope Services is proud that Highland Glen is the "talk of the town" in Scottsburg.
Now Accepting Applications for the 2018-2019 MCMV Program
We are now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 My Community, My Vision (MCMV) program. Each participating community will receive
$5,000 to implement a project developed in the planning process that involves high school students, graduate students from IUPUI's School of Public and Enviornmental Affairs (SPEA) and local government leadership. Applications

Last Call for Nominations for Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards
IHCDA is requesting nominations for the most outstanding properties in four categories for the Lt. Governor's Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards. These awards, which will be presented at the 2018 Indiana Housing Conference, celebrate the best in Indiana affordable housing development.
All award nominations are due by Wednesday, August 15, 2018, and the conference will take place September 26-27, 2018 at the Marriott Indianapolis in Downtown Indianapolis.
