      The IHCDA Real Estate Production Team will hold the final two annual outreach meetings in Huntington on July 12 and in Sheridan on July 17.

      Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards

      IHCDA is requesting nominations for the most outstanding properties in four categories for the Lt. Governor's Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards. These awards, which will be presented at the 2018 Indiana Housing Conference, celebrate the best in Indiana affordable housing development.

      All award nominations are due by Wednesday, August 15, 2018, and the conference will take place September 26-27, 2018 at the Marriott Indianapolis in Downtown Indianapolis. Click here for more information.

      Healthy Food Access in Indiana: Intersections & Opportunities

      On June 21, IHCDA representatives joined Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Healthy Food Access Coalition for the first annual Healthy Food Access Stakeholders Meeting. The event aimed to explore the causes and consequences of limited healthy food access in Indiana, as well as some of the many innovative solutions being utilized to address this issue across the state.       Celebrating Homeownership Month

      On June 22, roughly 300 Habitat for Humanity volunteers worked together alongside Lt., Governor Suzanne Crouch, the IHCDA, and several other local partners to construct walls for three different homes. Click here to read the story that was published in the Indy Star.

      Placemaking Indiana wants to see placemaking in action! This year IHCDA and its CreatINg Places partner, Patronicity, want to visit and talk Placemaking with Indiana communities.
