IHCDA Regional Meetings
The IHCDA Real Estate Production Team will be visiting locations around Indiana to host
annual outreach meetings. These meetings are intended to provide an overview of IHCDA
programs and gather feedback from communities, and IHCDA partners on local housing and
community development needs, challenges and policy.
If you are interested in attending a meeting, please RSVP to Katie Hall, Real Estate Coordinator
at kahall@ihcda.in.gov. IHCDA also invites our partners to inform the regional meeting agenda;
please send questions or topics to Samantha Spergel at sspergel@ihcda.in.gov.
Shamrock Estates
On May 30th, IHCDA’s Executive Director Jacob Sipe and
members of the Real Estate Department traveled to North Liberty for
the grand opening of the newest addition to the Shamrock Estates senior housing
development. There, they joined North Liberty officials and many partners that
made this second phase of this Stellar Communities project a reality.
Shamrock Estates Phase II used HOME funding to construct five duplex homes,
adding ten units of affordable senior housing.
Mandala Murals
The Mandala Murals Project is the latest CreatINg Places campaign to launch! It is being run by the North Anthony Corridor. Funds raised during this campaign will allow the creation of two new murals along the North Anthony Corridor in the The City of Fort Wayne.

Is there something placemaking related in your community you would like to showcase to IHCDA and other interested communities? Would you like to be highlighted for your placemaking efforts on Placemaking Indiana’s upcoming website, blog, or social media? Share your story with us – contact Carmen Lethig at clethig@ihcda.in.gov
