IHCDA Celebrates Fair Housing Month
April marked 50 years since the signing of the Fair Housing Act. To celebrate this historic anniversary, we were involved in a number of events and programs organized by our partners. We thank you for your shared commitment to continue affirmatively furthering fair housing in the State of Indiana.
Kennedy King Memorial Initiative
On April 4th, Governor Eric Holcomb was joined by state and local officials for the commemoration ceremony of the Landmark for Peace at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. The site has now been designated a Commemorative National Landmark and was part of our CreatINg Places program through the Kennedy King Memorial Initiative.

Back Home in Indiana Alliance
Our Deputy Executive Director and Chief Real Estate Development Officer Matt Rayburn spoke at the Back Home in Indiana Alliance's Annual Meeting last month. He focused on sharing ways that IHCDA is promoting accessible, visitable and integrated affordable housing options for persons with disabilities.
