Due Date for NCHMA Certification April 30, 2018

As of January 1, 2018, all firms and individuals that wish to submit market studies for any program administered by IHCDA will be required to be members of NCHMA and to be certified by them.

Because it can take 6 to 8 weeks to receive the certification from NCHMA, IHCDA extended the time frame for Market Study Providers to become certified to April 30, 2018. IHCDA is in frequent contact with NCHMA and will receive updates from them as to newly certified firms. Any questions about the certification process should be directed to NCHMA. Should you have any questions about this notice, please contact Jerri Bain at 317-233-6667 or jbain@ihcda.in.gov.

      40years

      IHCDA Celebrates 40 Years

On March 9th, 2018 we celebrated our 40th anniversary as an agency!

Our Executive Director, Jake Sipe, shared his excitement and optimism about the agency's future with the following sentiments:

"As we celebrate our 40th anniversary an agency, our commitment to improving the lives of Hoosiers and the communities in which they live remains. It's astounding to think of the lives this agency has touched in the 40 years since its inception. And I can't wait to see what IHCDA will continue to do for our fellow Hoosiers in the months and years ahead!"

      LaCasa Inc. Annual Luncheon

On March 21 LaCasa Inc. held their Annual Meeting and Luncheon to unveil a new visual identity and recognize LaCasa's accomplishments during the tenure of President Larry Gautsche.  Larry will be retiring after 17 years in August.

Pictured above are IHCDA's Marianne Frapps, Steve St. John, and Dani Miller, along with LaCasa's Larry Gautsche.

      INARF Annual Conference

On March 22 IHCDA was pleased to be an exhibitor at the INARF Annual Conference.

The Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities' mission is "to influence the disabilities services industry by presenting a unified voice and by building the capabilities of member agencies to deliver quality services and supports."  IHCDA representatives attended the annual conference to talk about how programs such as Ramp Up Indiana, IDA, and others can benefit Hoosiers.
