Board of Director's Meeting held at Silver Birch of Hammond

We held our final Board of Director's meeting of 2017 at Silver Birch of Hammond on December 21st. Following the board meeting, chaired by Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, board members and guests took a tour of the development. Silver Birch, which opened earlier this year, is a four-story assisted living facility.

The Council of State Community Development Agencies (COSCDA) hosted a CDBG Boot Camp earlier this month at IHCDA. The four-day training, which is part of COSCDA's Academy, had participants from more than a dozen states. Lt. Governor

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch creating opportunities for all Hoosiers

"All Hoosiers, regardless of background, economic status, or physical and intellectual changes deserve the same opportunities," said Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and board chair of IHCDA in a recently penned op-ed. She has always been a passionate supporter of Hoosiers with disabilities, which is why she is honored to chair the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities task force. The 17 person task force has met twice, and will continue to meet all across Indiana.
