Communities Creating Change

Crowdfunding campaign launched for the "Communities Creating Change" Project

Indianapolis will soon have a new community space dedicated to food justice and resident empowerment, thanks to a new crowdfunding campaign. The campaign, sponsored by the IHCDA and offered through the crowdfunding platform developed by Patronicity is being run by the Kheprw Institute.

If the campaign reaches its $30,000 goal by January 9th, 2017, the ‘Communities Creating Change: Our Voice, Our Choice’ project will receive a matching grant of $30,000 from IHCDA's CreatINg Places program. Click here for project details.

Moving Forward

Moving Forward 3.0

Recently IHCDA partnered with Energy Systems Network (ESN)  to conduct an intensive two-day workshop as part of the Moving Forward 3.0 Program in November. Miller-Valentine Group and UP Development worked closely with subject matter experts, local leaders and former residents of the West Calumet Housing Complex in the workshop, which served as the next step in providing two new affordable housing developments in Lake County.
