Response to Hurricane Henry - Emergency Housing Relief Authorization

In accordance with Revenue Procedures 2014-49 and  2014-50, IHCDA is permitting all owners of low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) properties within the State of Indiana to provide temporary emergency housing to displaced individuals affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Governor Suzanne Crouch presented her 2017 Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards at the Indiana Housing Conference earlier this month.These awards are presented to the most outstanding new properties in four categories and celebrate the best in Indiana affordable housing development.This year’s award winners are:

Delphi Check Presentation

Delphi Historic Trails Safety and Security Project Receives Grant from IHCDA

On August 21, the Delphi Historic Trails Safety and Security project received a matching grant for $50,000 through our CreatINg Places initiative. This project will bring significant safety improvements to the historic trail system in Delphi, along the same trail system where two girls were killed earlier this year.

So far the project has raised over $93,000 in crowdfunded donations, far exceeding the original goal of $50,000.

Board Meeting

IHCDA Board of Directors Meeting in Frankfort

IHCDA took the August Board of Directors meeting on the road to Frankfort, Indiana. The meeting was held at Wesley Manor Senior Apartments, an affordable housing development for seniors. The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on September 28, 2017 in Tell City, Indiana.

2017 Indiana Supportive Housing Institute Finale

Five supportive housing development teams from across the Hoosier state completed the 2017 Indiana Supportive Housing Institute today held by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) and the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH). Checks Presented from 2017 Charity Golf Outing

At the Indiana Housing Conference in August, IHCDA presented donations totaling $45,000 dollars to the beneficiaries of this year's Charity Golf Outing:

  • $20,000 to VIPS
  • $5,000 to Gleaners
  • $20,000 to the Two Chicks Foundation
