CreatINg Places Campaigns Reach Their Funding Goals A total of 13 CreatINg Places campaigns have reached their funding goals and will receive matching grants through IHCDA. Five additional campaigns remain open. To date, more than $500,000 has been raised in private donations towards these projects. IHCDA...on Location Visits Huntingburg For the latest installment of IHCDA...On Location we traveled to Huntingburg to visit with Mayor Denny Spinner. He shared with us their Stellar Communities Designation Program (SCDP) journey and why they are referred to as "A City Like No Other".

Now Accepting 2017-18 My Community, My Vision Applications My Community, My Vision (MCMV) is a youth planning partnership between IHCDA and Ball State University intended to get young people in Indiana more involved in community planning. Applications are being accepted until September 11, 2017 for local units of government to apply for the 2017-2018 MCMV Program. Glasswater Creek Groundbreaking In July we joined our partners at CRF Affordable Housing for the groundbreaking of Glasswater Creek of Lafayette. This development will provide 133 units of affordable housing for seniors in Lafayette, Indiana.

IHCDA...the Magazine The summer edition of IHCDA...the Magazine is now available. Featured on the cover of this issue is Rick Moore, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Evansville.

Indiana Housing Conference Registration remains open for the 2017 Indiana Housing Conference, which will take place August 15-16, 2017. Featured speakers for the conference this year are Karen and Mina from the HGTV show Good Bones.
