At IHCDA we are committed to listening to you and empowering you – our partners. So we developed the My Voice Portal (MVP) last fall to provide you with an opportunity to submit comments on ways we can improve. Since launching the program we've received a number of great suggestions that we have considered. Provided below is one of these submissions:

Submission Description

Current communications are in form of bulletins and proactive communications. Sufficient for announcements or the proactive agency but will not tap information from many who don't give it the time.

Why is this a problem?

Would like to see how partners and agencies poll on certain issues, problems and decisions. Would enable all to capture a picture of full program impact.

Recommended Solution(s)

Use of a brief and periodic survey process to tabulate issues, gain feedback, monitor progress and solicit more feedback.

IHCDA solution

This submission reiterated our decision to host external listening sessions to solicit feedback and identify the direction of our agency as we develop our 2017-2020 Strategic Plan. We are pleased to report that this plan - once complete - will contain direct feedback and suggestions provided by our partners. While we do conduct surveys, based on the feedback, we need to make the results more readily available as we did with our most recent Customer Service Survey results found in our 2016 Annual Report.
