My Community, My Vision Final Event
On April 19th, student groups from across the state came together for
the 2016-17
My Community, My Vision (MCMV) final event. Each of the five student
groups, with support from graduate students from Ball State University's School of Urban Planning,
presented their community vision plans during a luncheon at The Platform in
Downtown Indianapolis.
Student groups from Crawfordsville, Fort Wayne, Greenfield,
Greensburg and Shelbyville worked alongside their city leaders, IHCDA staff and
Ball State University faculty and students to outline their ideas for enhancing
the development and quality of life in their hometowns.
The MCMV program is supported by Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and is
administered by IHCDA with assistance from Ball State University.

Winners Announced for IN_Fill Design Competition
RATIO Architects, SRKM Architecture, Andrea Swartz AIA and Emery Hunt Assoc. AIA were winners of the first IN_Fill Design Competition. Each were awarded prizes ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for their renderings of new, affordable single-family home designs that will be located in Anderson, Evansville and Indianapolis.
“It is important for us to continuously explore new, affordable, well-designed single-family homes within our urban and downtown areas,” said Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch who serves as board chair of IHCDA. “The entries we received clearly demonstrates the immense talent and creativity of our architects in Indiana.”
