2017 Rental Housing Tax Credits Announced
At
the February 23rd Board of Directors Meeting, the Real Estate
Department presented their recommendations for the 2017 RHTC Awards. 16
projects were selected for a combined $13.9 million in RHTC and $5.8 million in
IHCDA funding which will provide over 700 additional units of affordable housing

IHCDA and OCRA Seek Public Comment for 2017 Action Plan
Pursuant to 24 CFR part 91.115(a)(2), the State of Indiana wishes to encourage citizens to participate in the development of the State of Indiana Annual Action Plan for 2017. In accordance with this regulation, the State is providing the opportunity for citizens to comment on the 2017 Annual Action Plan draft report, which will be submitted to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before May 15, 2017.

Prior to submission, all members of the public are invited to review the draft Plan from February 16, 2017 through April 1, 2017 during normal business hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, at the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).
Additional Opportunity for Feedback
As part of our ongoing commitment to solicit partner feedback, we invite you to complete a survey that will help us make decisions regarding the use of funds available through:
- Community Development Block Grant
- HOME Investment Partnerships Program
- Emergency Solutions Grant
- Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS
The survey consists of over fifty questions, HOWEVER you can choose to only answer questions relating to the funding source that is most important to you. The average respondent will likely answer from twelve (12) to twenty (20) questions, which should not take longer than ten (10) minutes.
