2016 Utility Allowances

IHCDA’s 2016 utility allowances are now available online. The new utility allowances have an effective date of January 31, 2017. Properties using these utility allowances must implement within 90 days of the effective date.

Note: A particular property may be eligible to use or required to use a different utility allowance source. Click here for more information.

Stellar Informational Workshop

The 2017 Stellar Communities Designation Program (SCDP) 
Informational Webinar will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am (EST). This webinar is for anyone interested in learning more about key partners, program timelines, letter of interest submission packet requirements and key barriers to success. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of an assembled panel of state agency partners.

Institute

Institute Teams Announced

Teams from Columbus, Elkhart, Martinsville, Indianapolis and Plymouth will be participating in the 2017 Indiana Supportive Housing Institute.

Over the next six months, these teams will work closely with IHCDA and the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH)  through a series of targeted training and group exercises. They will also be provided technical assistance and presented with pre-development financing opportunities...more.

Downtown South Bend has launched a crowdfunding campaign for a new monument dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Father Theodore Hesburgh through our CreatINg Places program. The campaign is offered through the crowdfunding platform Patronicity...more.

The City of Greensburg has launched a campaign to have public art installed downtown. Their project, called Distinctive Place, was announced by IHCDA and Main Street Greensburg...more.
