Celebrating 40 Years of the
Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
For the latest installment of IHCDA…On Location and as
part of our year-long effort to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Weatherization
Assistance Program (WAP), we traveled with our partners at the Area IV Agency
on Aging and Community Action Programs to two homes that they had
recently weatherized. Each family has experienced significant energy
and cost savings.

2016-17 My Community, My Vision Kick-Off Event
The kick-off event for the 2016-17 My Community, My Vision program took
place Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Ball State University – Fisher Center
for Academic and Economic Innovation. Local Units of Government (LUGs)
participating in this year’s program with support of area youth, are:
Greenfield, Greensburg, Crawfordsville, Shelbyville and Corydon. Following
months of planning with support from graduate students in Ball
State University’s School of Urban Planning, each group will present their
plans in April 2017.
