September is Archaeology Month

September

September is Archaeology Month in Indiana. The DNR Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology (DHPA) coordinates this event. Indiana Archaeology Month 2016 has been declared an official Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project.

Archaeology Month allows Hoosiers to learn more about the discipline of archaeology, the archaeological sites in our state, and the laws which protect these sites. A goal of this month is to increase public awareness and to minimize the myths and misconceptions commonly associated with the discipline. Join the fun! Click here for more information.

If your agency has a new staff member who wish to receive this newsletter, please e-mail Leesa Norton, Real Estate Development Coordinator at lnorton@ihcda.in.gov

This monthly newsletter provides information and updates from the Real Estate Department (RED) at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA). If you have a specific interest or subject area that you would like to read more about please contact us.

2016 Federal Program Income and Rent Limits

Per the requirements of the 2013 HOME Final Rule, IHCDA must annually approve the rents to be charged at each HOME-assisted rental development. Therefore, all properties with IHCDA HOME-assisted rental units must complete the HOME Rent Update Form (Compliance Form #46) originally due July 1, 2016. If a form has not been submitted already for a HOME-assisted property, please submit this form by September 10, 2016 to avoid being out of compliance with HOME regulations. The original notice and form can be found within RED 16-35. If there are any questions, please contact a Regional Compliance Auditor today!
