IHCDA and the Indiana Affordable Housing Council (IAHC) are
proud to open 2016 awards nominations recognizing achievement,
creativity and leadership in the affordable housing industry. Award nominations are due July 18th.
2016 Lt. Governor's Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing
IHCDA is accepting nominations for the Lt. Governor's Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing. Presented to the most outstanding properties, these awards celebrate the best in Indiana affordable housing development. Categories include: Rural, Urban, Senior and Special Needs Housing.

2016 Indiana Affordable Housing Council Leadership Award
The IAHC Leadership Award recipient will be a person who serves as a role
model, who exemplifies the qualities of leadership and passion and who makes
improving the lives of Hoosiers (particularly as it relates to provision of
safe, decent and affordable housing) an integral part of his or her daily work.
Additional consideration will be given to nominees who serve in a volunteer
capacity for national, state or local organizations or events, particularly in
some level of leadership capacity.

2016 Outstanding Resident Volunteer Award
IHCDA and the IAHC are jointly accepting nominations for their inaugural
Outstanding Resident Volunteer Award. The recipient of this award will be a
consumer of an IHCDA program who has demonstrated through their volunteer work
a desire to better their community. Examples include: mentoring, tutoring,
participating in charitable functions and fundraisers and community activities
that bring happiness to others.
