WorkOne Achievement Awards Honor Hoosiers and Hoosier Employers

INDIANAPOLIS (April 5, 2017) – The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and its WorkOne Career Centers are proud to announce the recipients of the 2017 WorkOne Achievement Awards. Biennially, DWD recognizes Hoosiers who have participated in various DWD education programs and are successful in rejoining the workforce. Indiana employers who have used WorkOne services for hiring, training and other economic development purposes also are recognized. All recipients were nominated for the award by their local WorkOne center.

The awards ceremony will take place in the South Atrium at the Statehouse on April 11, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Local talk show host Abdul-Hakim Shabazz will be the Master of Ceremonies. The event is open to the public.
