Irreverent Warriors
Register for the Silkies Hike 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 starting at the Indiana War Memorial 55 E. Michigan St. Indianapolis.
This year, forty-nine cities will host a Silkies Hike. These hikes bring veterans together using humor and camaraderie to prevent veteran suicide. The hike is for active duty, National Guard, Reserve and veterans only.

Golf Outing 2020
The 7th Annual Salute to Veterans Golf Outing is rescheduled for Oct. 2. Proceeds benefit WISH for OUR HEROES Indiana. Brookshire Golf Club (12120 Brookshire Pkwy Carmel) will host this event.

Mayors Veterans Appreciation Day 2020
The 10th Annual Mayors Veterans Appreciation Day event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 for all central Indiana veterans, military and their families. This event is free admission and free parking. Come share in the family fun, games, music, and camaraderie. Veteran Health’s Mobile Vet Van will be on site, as well as more than 90 vendors and information booths displaying most veteran services, programs and benefits. A job fair with nearly 50 employers will also be in attendance. The location for this event is the Marion County Fairgrounds 7300 East Troy Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46239.
