New traffic signal on U.S. 41 to go live August 19

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation will be activating a new traffic signal on U.S. 41/Indianapolis Blvd at the intersection with Oak St beginning Thursday, August 19.

This signal was deemed necessary due to new development in the area. Motorists should be cautious in the area as they approach the new signal for the first time.
