Paving Project Scheduled for Morgan Avenue In Evansville

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a lane closures for a pavement project on State Road 62 (Morgan Avenue) in Evansville.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, May 28, contractors will close one lane of Morgan Avenue between U.S. 41 and just east of I-69 for a pavement overlay project. During this operation crews will patch and replace the driving surface of the existing pavement. During the project one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Depending upon weather conditions the operation is scheduled to last until mid to late November.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
