Lane Restrictions Planned for S.R. 3 Bridge over Conrail Railroad on Monday
Noble County bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction throughout the work

NOBLE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction on S.R. 3 over the Conrail Railroad on or after Monday, June 11, weather permitting. Work will take place between Drake Road and U.S. 6 in the City of Kendallville.

Motorists can expect to see heavy equipment placing a temporary barrier wall in the work zone. Be prepared for stopped or merging traffic while the contractor completes the bridge deck overlay.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active construction zone.

Restrictions on the S.R. 3 bridge over the Conrail Railroad will remain through late November. The contract was awarded to Brooks Construction Company for $6.5 million and includes the reconstruction of U.S. 20 in Angola and LaGrange, as well as the rehabilitation of several structures across the Fort Wayne District.
