Lane Restrictions Announced for U.S. 41

Ohio River Crossing in Evansville

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions for the southbound U.S. 41 Ohio River Bridge between Evansville and Henderson, Kentucky for maintenance.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, March 27, INDOT Contractors will close one lane of U.S. 41 on the southbound “Twin Bridge” to perform bump grinding operations. The operation is expected to take two days to complete depending upon weather conditions. One lane will be closed on the 27th, the other will be closed on the 28th.  Work will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
