INDOT EOD congratulates Mary Brouillette-Konig on her
promotion to Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”) Manager. Mary’s new responsibilities include day to
day management and supervision of all six district Equal Employment Officers,
evaluation and insight into the development of INDOT’s Contract Compliance
policies and providing leadership and oversight in complex investigations. Mary will continue to be located in the
Vincennes District Office along with her colleague and new EEO Officer Carla
Irvin. Prior to her new role, Mary was
the Senior EEO located within the Vincennes District. Congratulations, Mary!

Partners with Vincennes University To Provide Training Opportunities and Job
Placement Assistance in the Truck Driving Industry
The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded Vincennes
University Logistics Training and Education Center (VU LTEC) in Plainfield a
Supportive Services grant through the Federal Highway Administration, aimed at
providing CDL Class A training to women, minorities and economically
disadvantaged individuals. The purpose of this grant is to increase the
number of individuals who receive training and ultimately obtain their CDL
license, to enter jobs within the transportation/heavy highway industry. VU
LTEC begins a new CDL training class the first Monday of every month. The
training program is six-weeks in length, focusing heavily on hands-on driving

Keep Your DBE Certification Current
When you
visit INDOT’s website and navigate to the 18- month letting schedule or
reference major projects going on around the state you will notice a number of
opportunities available to DBEs. Leverage these opportunities by maintaining
your DBE certification. Maintain your DBE certification by submitting your No
Change Affidavit on time. Contact anyone on the Certification or Supportive
Services team for questions about your due dates or the process.
