Fix for 41 Phase 1 Bridge Rehab Scheduled to Begin
VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana
Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions as a part of the Fix
for 41 Bridge rehab project in Evansville.
Beginning on or around Wednesday
July 5, contractors will restrict the southbound Ohio River Bridge between Evansville
and Henderson, Kentucky for a bridge deck rehab and overlay. There will be two
northbound lands and one southbound lane routed onto the northbound bridge.
There will be one southbound lane open for heavy truck traffic.
Wide and oversized loads will need
to use the U.S. 231 Ohio River Crossing at Maceo, Kentucky. This route uses
U.S. 41, Indiana State Road 66, U.S. 231, U.S. 60 Bypass in Owensboro,
Kentucky, the Audubon Parkway, and Pennyrile Parkway between Owensboro and
Henderson.
This is the first phase of the Fix
for 41 project and is scheduled to last until this fall. For more
