CR 1450 N in Spencer County to Close For New Construction
SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana
Department of Transportation announces a closure on County Road 1450 North near
Santa Claus for new road construction.
Beginning on or around Monday, June
12, contractors will close the road, also known as St. Peters Church Road from
the intersection of State Road 245 for new construction. This is a phase of the
S.R. 245 project that began earlier this summer to resurface and connect a new
alignment. During the closure, local traffic will have access to the point of
closure, all other traffic should use an alternate route.
The Closure will be in place around
the clock. Work is expected to be completed, depending upon weather conditions,
by the beginning of September. INDOT urges motorists to slow down and be alert
in the work zone.
