Summer School Final Costs
Schools should be collecting their summer school costs by course in order to be ready to submit when the window for submitting summer school costs opens later this month. A link to the submission form will be in a memo in Dr. Jenner’s weekly email on Friday, July 26. Summer school costs will be accepted until Sunday, September 15. Only school corporations/non-public schools that submitted estimated costs during the spring window are eligible to be reimbursed for summer school.
Form 9 Submission
Pursuant to Indiana Code (IC) 20-40-2-6, school corporations must submit their Form 9 financial data for January to June 2024 by Wednesday, July 31. To ensure that IDOE's Office of School Finance has adequate time to review your submission before finalizing the period, steps one through eight should be completed well before the deadline. The Form 9 application can be accessed via the Link Portal. Once in the portal, the financial administrator will navigate to the “Form 9 Financial Data” tile. Choice School Applications
The application period for schools to apply to participate in the Choice Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 school year is open. Schools may apply to participate through Sunday, September 1. The application materials are posted on the Choice website and in the Non-Public School Community in Moodle. Contact ChoiceSchool@doe.in.gov for more information.
Choice Student Applications
Schools that have been approved to participate in the 2024-2025 Choice Scholarship program may submit student applications. The deadline for student applications is Sunday, September 1. The applications are submitted through the STN Application Center. Please contact ChoiceSchool@doe.in.gov if you need assistance with student applications.
School and Corporation Profile Amendment Window
The school and corporation profile amendment submission window for the 2023-2024 school year is open. In order to ensure that IDOE maintains accurate information, all schools and corporations must provide notice when changes are made that affect school openings, closures, and reconfigurations. Information on the submission process can be found here. Schools that have changes in grade configurations will not be able to access those grade levels in the student Choice application until the profile amendment has been approved through IDOE’s Office of Accountability.
