Form 9 Financial Reporting for January to June 2024
Beginning in January 2024, the chart of accounts will be modified to streamline the transfer reports completed in step four of Form 9 data submissions. Instead of using accounts 60100 and 5200 to indicate every fund transfer, school corporations and charter schools will need to indicate the funds involved in the transfer by using expenditure and receipt accounts specific to the fund transfers. Membership Conflict Petition Process

Choice Student Applications
The submission window for period 2 Choice student applications is open through Monday, January 15. To review the information submitted on applications, download the School Choice Scholarship Report from the STN Application Center. Contact the Choice team with questions.
Special Education Endorsement Forms
Students who have selected the Choice school as the special education service provider must have been reported and certified in the December data collection in Data Exchange. Additionally, the student must have a special education endorsement form signed by the parent/guardian and by the school representative uploaded to the STN Application Center by the end of the day on Thursday, January 11.
Endorsement Forms
When a student has an approved Choice application, the endorsement form is available to download for signatures. For period 2 Choice student applications, this form must be signed and uploaded to the STN Application Center between Tuesday, January 16, and Monday, March 4.
Monitoring Reports
The next update of Choice school monitoring reports will be placed in school folders by the end of the day today, Friday, December 15.
Choice Office Hours
The next session of Choice office hours will be on Wednesday, January 10. There are five sessions scheduled at the times below. Meetings will begin promptly at the scheduled time and continue until there is no further conversation. Each session presents the same material, choose the time that is most convenient for you. Non-Public Schools Interested in Applying for the National Blue Ribbon Award
Assessment percentiles that can be used to assist non-public schools in the application process for the 2024 Blue Ribbon awards are available in the IDOE School Accountability and Accreditation Moodle Community (Awards > Blue Ribbon) using enrollment key “AccountabilityCommunity.” The Blue Ribbon award application process for non-public schools is administered through the Council for American Private Education (CAPE), and the deadline for application is Friday, January 12.
Accreditation
The submission window for non-public schools to submit a petition for performance-based (state) accreditation opens on Tuesday, January 2, and closes on Tuesday, April 30. The petition may be found here. Contact Marissa Belmont or the Accountability Team with questions.
