Curricular Materials
Public school corporations and charter schools may apply for a curricular material distribution for the 2023-2024 school year. Costs must be submitted on or before Tuesday, October 31, using a JotForm. The 2023-2024 Curricular Material Summary Cost Form instructions outlining the JotForm submission process and Claim Form are located in Moodle in the Public School Finance Community in the Curricular Material folder. November Tuition Support
With Period 1 2024 membership closed, staff will begin the process of updating Basic Grant funding as part of the November payment. IDOE's Office of School Finance will provide additional details when tuition support worksheets are updated.
Choice Scholarship Awards: Fall Payment
The first Choice payment is anticipated to be made during the last week of October. The first payment is 50% of the calculated payment for eligible students. A second payment will be made in March, and the final payment will be made in May.
Enrollment
Enrollment must be reported for all students who have enrolled in your school.
- An entry date should be reported in Enrollment within five days of the student’s first day of school.
- If a student has been withdrawn, an exit date is required to be reported in Enrollment within five days of the withdrawal.
- Choice Scholarship awards for students who are eligible to receive a payment, but who are withdrawn from the school prior to the end of the school year will have a prorated award amount calculated.
Choice Period 2 Applications
Student applications for period 2 Choice Scholarships can be submitted beginning Wednesday, November 1. Choice Scholarship period 2 award amounts will be posted on the Choice website closer to the submission period and is posted in the Non-Public School Community in Moodle.
Curricular Material Assistance (CMA)
Non-public schools may participate in the CMA program. The process for non-public schools in submitting data for this collection has not changed for the 2023-2024 school year. The 2023-2024 Non-Public Curricular Material Packet is posted in the Non-Public School Community in Moodle and includes a memo outlining important information and details. An example of the claim form that is required to be submitted is also included in the packet. The claim form must be submitted on or before Tuesday, October 31. Mandatory and Voluntary Graduation Rate Audits Submission Window Open
The graduation rate audit is currently open and will close on Friday, October 27. Submit the audit through the Accountability Portal. This portal uses the same username and password as DOE Online. If you are unsure if your school was selected for the Mandatory Graduation Rate Audit, check the list of mandatory audit schools.
Do you have any students on your 2023 cohort with a cohort status you don’t agree with? If yes, submit them on the voluntary graduation rate audit. This involves submitting the student on the voluntary graduation rate audit Excel template and submitting the supporting documentation. All schools are welcome to participate in the voluntary graduation rate audit and it is the final opportunity to request a change to the 2023 cohort. If your school is also subject to the mandatory graduation rate audit, submit both the mandatory and voluntary graduation rate audits in the same, single audit submission. Holiday Schedule
IDOE will be closed on Tuesday, November 7, for Election Day, and on Friday, November 10, for Veterans Day.
