2022 Pandemic EBT Administrative Costs Reimbursement

This week, the next round of Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) payments were distributed. The ACH deposit lists the description as Other and one of the amounts listed in the distribution chart below, depending on eligibility. The fund and receipt information is included below.

  • The USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) released fiscal year (FY) 2022 P-EBT Local Level Administrative Cost Grant Awards for the purpose of reimbursing local sponsors for administrative cost incurred in support of P-EBT.
  • These grant funds may be used to reimburse allowable local level P-EBT costs.
    • Examples of allowable costs under this grant include limited salaries of personnel, supplies, support services, or other expenses specifically associated with the FY 2022 P-EBT program.
    • Local documentation must be maintained to support how these funds were used to reimburse P-EBT expenses.
  • The period of performance for the FY 2022 P-EBT Local Level Administrative Cost Grant Awards is from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.
  • The method used to determine funding was developed by USDA FNS. Below are the three simplified payment amounts, which are based off of the number of eligible children in each School Food Authority (SFA).
