ISTEP+ Summer 2019 Retest Scores are Available
Schools may now access ISTEP+ Summer 2019 scores in the Online Reporting System. Instructions for accessing and using reports are available on the Indiana Assessment Portal. Schools must provide reports to parents and families in a timely manner. Schools may print and mail results or may provide reports via a secure electronic system.
If students do not pass ISTEP+ mathematics or English/language arts, schools are required to provide remediation. Remediation plans are locally defined; however, schools should reflect on best practices when providing remediation. Students may participate in ISTEP+ retesting during the winter 2019 window, November 4 – December 6, as needed.
-
Consider student performance data from ISTEP+ and other assessments such as PSAT or local interim assessments as applicable.
-
Tailor remediation to meet areas where growth is needed. Remediation plans should not be the same across the board for all students, but individualized to meet their needs.
