Spring ISTEP+ Part 1 – Posttest Activities: Online and Paper/Pencil
CTCs must complete required posttest activities. This includes marking online test sessions “Complete” or “Do Not Report,” as necessary, by today, Friday, March 9. CTCs should refer to the section beginning on page 64 of the Indiana Online Testing Guide for more details.
Spring ISTEP+ Part 1 (Paper/Pencil) Rejected Test Attempt Cleanup Window (March 19 through April 13) Begins NEXT Week
CTCs must watch for any Part 1 rejected test attempts that may appear in PearsonAccessnext throughout the course of this window as paper test documents are received and processed. More information about rejected test attempts and how to resolve them is available in the Indiana Online Testing Guide.
Spring ISTEP+ Part 1 – Satisfaction Survey Now Open
The Office of Student Assessment welcomes all feedback regarding the recent ISTEP+ Part 1 test administration. Please take a moment to complete this survey. Your input will be used to help prepare for ISTEP+ Part 2 and future test administrations.
Spring IREAD-3 Test Window Opens Monday
This test window will be open Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16 for students testing online and with paper/pencil. CTCs should use this guidance to contact Pearson or the Indiana Department of Education with any questions.

Draft Annual Performance Report (APR) Available for Review
The 2016 - 2017 Annual Performance Reports (APR) will be available to schools for review in DOE Online beginning today (Friday, March 9). The report will be accessible to corporation administrators under the Annual Performance Report menu. The report will be released publicly through Compass on Thursday, March 15. Additional information on the report, including publication requirements, is available here.

ESSA Form 9 Guidance

This resource provides Indiana Local Education Agencies with an overview of state and federal reporting requirements for school building level data. Fall 2018 Membership Estimate
This month, the Office of School Finance will collect an estimate of the fall 2018 membership count from each public school and charter school. The Indiana Department of Education invites Local Education Agencies and organizations to register for the first Title Con May 29 through 30. The two-day conference will feature keynote speakers, various breakout sessions, focus on programmatic and fiscal guidance to advance federal and state programs to the next level, and alignment with the conference theme of "Moving Beyond Compliance.”

Two New Documents Provide Information Related to all Title Programs
A new LEA Affirmation of Consultation with Non-Public School Officials form for all Title programs is available on the Indiana Department of Education website. This information includes requirements under ESSA. The new form will be used to facilitate consultation with non-public school officials beginning with the 2018-2019 school year. Also, new for the upcoming school year is Introduction to Non-Public School Consultation information. Both documents can be found here.
