Assessment-Accountability-Statute Flexibility Roadshow POSTPONED
Given the outcome of this week’s State Board of Education (SBOE) meeting, the Roadshows scheduled for December 12, 13, and 15 have been postponed. We will reschedule once we have more definitive answers regarding high school assessments and SBOE rule making, surrounding accountability. Important information regarding assessment will be shared in the near future. Please play close attention to next week’s Weekly Update for further guidance. We apologize for the late notice and any inconvenience this may cause.

Avoid Test Invalidations
The Office of Student Assessment reminds all schools to take thoughtful steps to avoid student test invalidations as administration of both the ISTEP+ Winter Retest and End-of-Course Assessments occurs this week. Please review and share this memo to minimize invalidations and undetermined results.
IREAD-3 Blueprint and Item Specifications – Share with Educators
The Office of Student Assessment has posted a more detailed version of the current IREAD-3 test blueprint as well as detailed IREAD-3 item specifications to our website under the “Blueprints and Specifications” dropdown tab.
