Correctional Officer Promoted to Correction Sergeant
Michigan City, Ind. -Major Douglas Wardlow announces the appointment of Andrew Bauer to Correctional Sergeant at the Indiana State Prison.
Andrew began his career with the Indiana Department of Correction February 16, 2017. He has completed training in the Order in the Court and is qualified with firearms. He is Quick Response Trained (QRT) and has completed training as a first responder to emergencies. As an officer he has worked all over the facility assigned to many posts. He has recently been assigned to the Disciplinary Hearing Office.
Major Wardlow stated, “We are fortunate to have staff of this caliber available to serve this facility and the Department of Correction. Congratulations and good luck on your new assignment.”
