Putnamville Correctional Facility
Promotes Eight New Sergeants

Greencastle, Ind. - Putnamville Correctional Facility, Warden Dushan Zatecky, and Deputy Warden Mike Rains congratulate eight staff members on their promotions to Correctional Sergeant.

The Sergeants promoted are Regina Warren, Tiffany Ethridge, Devon Mikles, John Millikan, Joshua Hammer, Jeremy Jones, Michael Morris, and Matthew Stringfellow. Each promoted Sergeant began their career with the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) in 2018 or before. Each is trained in numerous different positions and duties before their promotions to include Hazmat, Fire 1 and 2, Armory Supervision, Firearms instruction, Personal Protection, and several hold positions on one of the Emergency Response Teams. Deputy Warden Mike Rains said, “Each one of the individuals has developed their careers at Putnamville Correctional Facility by taking on numerous roles, showing they are motivated and eager to learn and have the ability to become great leaders. Each has proven they can adapt to situations and assignments and show a willingness to place others before themselves.”

Warden Zatechy said, “Each Sergeant seems ready to take on the challenges this position will present. The experience they have gained during their time at the facility will serve as a building block upon which they can develop into the kind of leaders that PCF looks for."
