Service of Wabash Valley Re-Entry Staff Recognized
Carlisle, Ind.- Commissioner Carter and Deputy Commissioner Blessinger recently sent tokens of appreciation to Program and Re-Entry staff for dedication to their duties over the course of the pandemic. Re-entry staff have reported to work throughout these challenging times to ensure offenders who are approaching their release date experience a smooth transition back into society.
Retention & Recruitment Coordinator David Wence delivered the tokens of appreciation to staff. They received a 'Thank You' card along with an ID clip for all they continue to do on a daily basis for the offender population at Wabash Valley.
Community Service Director Jackie Storm said, "I want to thank the Commissioner and IDOC Executive staff for taking the time to recognize employees during these challenging times. Showing appreciation to staff inspires them to continue their dedication to maintaining the standards of health and safety in our unique environment. I am proud to be a part of the IDOC team!"
