Putnamville Correctional Facility Promotes Two Captains
Greencastle, Ind.— Fellow co-workers at the Putnamville Correctional Facility (PCF) and Deputy Warden Keith Hartzell congratulated Jamie Henry and Diana Hughett on their recent promotions to serve as Correctional Captains. Both promotions become effective at the end of June.
Jamie Henry started his career with the Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC) in September 2012 as a Correctional Officer. He was promoted to Sergeant in February of 2015, Lieutenant in February 2018, and recently promoted to Captain June 28, 2020. Captain Henry worked many posts including holding a position as a Field Training Officer. “Captain Henry has shown true leadership, and will brings great talent to the facility.”, stated Deputy Warden Keith Hartzell.
Diana Hughett initially worked for Aramark before starting her career with the DOC in March of 2011. Hughett then promoted to Sergeant July 2015, Lieutenant in November of 2017 and now will serve as a Captain effective the end of this month.
Captain Hughett graduated the Leadership Academy in 2018, as well as being an Emerging Effective Leadership graduate in 2019. Deputy Warden Hartzell stated, “Captain Hughett has hit the ground running at Putnamville and will be an asset to our facility.”
When collectively asked about the recent promtions Deputy Warden Keith Hartzell, commented, “Both, Captain Hughett and Captain Henry have great staff supporting them, so we expect to see big things from both individuals." Hartzell concluded, “I am especially proud and honored to be able to promote both Henry and Hughett to the rank of Captain!”
