Miami Correctional Facility Proudly Recognizes Silent Hero
Bunker Hill, Ind. –The Miami Correctional Facility (MCF) is proud to recognize Correctional Officer (C/O) Jessica Rhodes as MCF’s Silent Hero.
C/O Rhodes started with MCF in 2014 as a correctional officer. She has worked in many job assignments during her tenure. She is presently working in the Receiving and Release Department as the Offender Clothing and Offender Property Officer. She has taken on multiple duty assignments without hesitation, her only question, "What else can I do to help?" C/O Rhodes has a real team spirit and is always willing to help. With an outstanding positive attitude toward others, she is a pleasure to work with. This officer does not tell you why something cannot be done, she looks for ways to get it done. She has an ability to teach others how to be the positive force they need to be. C/O Rhodes is a great asset to MCF and the Indiana Department of Correction.
Deputy Warden George Payne Jr. commented, "Officer Rhodes is one of MCF’s greatest assets. She is always willing to do what needs to be done. She never complains about anything whatsoever. Her attitude is very refreshing in a time when we really need it. She sets a great example for staff to follow. I was very glad to see her recognized for her work; I am proud of Officer Rhodes. I want to tell her thank you for a job well done and keep up the great work."
