Safety Hazard Manager Appointed at Indiana State Prison
Michigan City, Ind. - Indiana State Prison Warden Ron Neal announces the promotion of Danielle Brown to the position of Safety Hazard Manager. Ms. Brown started her career in the Indiana Department of Correction on May 1, 2015 as a Correctional Officer.
Ms. Brown has participated in extensive training and is certified in many areas to assist in her new position. The training includes Pest Control, Offender Disciplinary Processes, and an Instructor for Emergency Care and Safety. She is a K-9 handler with the Emergency Response Team and has completed the Women in Leadership Course with the Indiana Department of Correction. Danielle has completed a 40-hour course called Hazwopper and is part of the Hazmat Technical Response Team.
Warden Ron Neal stated, “Danielle has been a hardworking employee and has earned the respect of staff as a training instructor. With the additional training completed Danielle will transition seamlessly into the Safety Hazmat Position. It is with great pleasure that I welcome Danielle to the position of Safety Hazard Manager for the Indiana State Prison! I look forward to working with Danielle in her new role and believe that she will do an outstanding job in this new role!”
