Miami Correctional Facility Recognizes Front Line Staff During COVID-19
Bunker Hill, Ind. – Recently Sam’s Club of Kokomo donated 600 hotdogs, buns, bags of chips and condiments to the staff at Miami Correctional Facility (MCF). Store Manger Patty Mitchell stated, “We are glad to do it; we have to be here for each other right now.”
Warden Bill Hyatte commented, “I really appreciate the generosity of Sam’s Club of Kokomo and their willingness to show their support for MCF. The men and women who work here need to be recognized for what they do. I think it is wonderful to see the local community do so. Patti Mitchell and the Sam’s Club Team have my thanks. I also want to say thank you to the MCF team for the work they do every day."
The staff at MCF have been working hard to combat COVID-19 and continue to serve and protect their fellow staff and offenders without hesitation.
