Awards Ceremony Held at Indiana State Prison

Michigan City, Ind. - The Indiana State Prison (ISP) recently held a ceremony to award employees for their contributions to corrections. Updates were presented to the audience of approximately 100 staff from the Indiana State Prison.

Seven staff received seniority awards. Brett Lain was recognized for 20 years of service, Tommie Horne, Kimberly Meyer, Donald Parkes and Willie Parnell for 25 years of service. In addition, Dan McBride was recognized for 45 years of service. Paul Beebe was given a standing ovation for 50 years of service to the Indiana Department of Correction at the Indiana State Prison.

Ashley Burnham, Joshua Wallen, Moises Lopez and Shanalee Stacy were recognized with awards for their dedication, job performance, cooperation and professionalism.  

Warden Ron Neal stated, “I always enjoy the staff assemblies at ISP because we take the time to come together on a regular basis as a correctional family and recognize those of us who have excelled in the eyes of their peers, as well as the administration.   All of the staff recognized here today are correctional professionals, deserving of any and all recognition they receive”.
