The State of Indiana is transitioning to utilize SuccessFactors as the Learning Management System. The Indiana Department of Administration is slated to launch in the new State of Indiana Learning Portal on Monday, March 8!
March 8
- IDOA online courses will be live in ELM and SuccessFactors March 8th.
Before March 30
- If you’ve completed a session in ELM and it still shows “in progress”, send your completion certificate to idoatraining@idoa.in.gov prior to March 30th so that we can update your record.
March 30
- If you’re currently taking classes in ELM, have them completed by March 30th.
After March 31
- SPD will move your ELM completion status information to SuccessFactors.
- If your status shows “enrolled” or “in progress” in ELM at that point, the information won’t move to SuccessFactors. You’ll be required to enroll in and complete the session in SuccessFactors.

We have several classes that have a prerequisite that must be completed before you can self-enroll in the next session. For example:
- You must complete Introduction to Completing Requisitions before you can enroll in Completing Requisitions. If you’re about to finish the Introduction session and you can finish it and the Creating Requisitions course in ELM before March 30, that’s what we recommend.
- You must complete the P/T Card Program Overview before you can enroll in P/T Card Module Verifier Role (Stage 1). If it’s going to be a while before you can finish the P/T card Program Overview in ELM, you may just want to enroll in and complete them both in SuccessFactors.
- You must complete SCM Administrator Course 4 before you can enroll in SCM Administrator Course 5. If you’re about to finish Course 4 and think you can complete the remaining three courses before March 30 in ELM, that’s what we recommend.

If you need to take a class that doesn’t have a prerequisite, such as SCM Internal Collaboration and Strategic Sourcing Event, we recommend that you enroll and complete it in SuccessFactors beginning March 8.
