On March 22, Governor Mike Pence signed 13 bills into state law which will help provide further assistance to veterans, service members and their families. Included in the ceremony was the signing of House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1312, which allows veteran-owned businesses to register directly with the State of Indiana instead of the federal government. This registration allows veteran-owned businesses to receive greater consideration during the state's contracting and procurement process.
