Indiana State Poet Laureate among featured speakers at Arts in Harmony Festival

(Indianapolis, Indiana) The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today that Indiana State Poet Laureate Shari Wagner will be among the featured speakers scheduled for the 2017 Arts in Harmony Festival.

The festival will be June 3 - 4, 2017 in New Harmony, Indiana, and will emphasize art advocacy and a "Celebration of the Written Word," featuring national and regional authors, writers, and poets.

"The whole festival should be wonderful," said Wagner. "I also greatly admire the local and regional poets that I'll be reading with in the afternoon starting at 1:30."

In addition to nearly a dozen authors, Arts in Harmony Festival will also feature live music, and more than 50 fine artists and craftspeople displaying and selling their work.
