Good morning County/Local Agencies,

Some exciting news to share with you from the OCPR meeting on February 23rd!

The Oversight Committee on Public Records (OCPR) approved the revisions of two county/local retention schedules:

the County Treasurers (TR) and the Public Libraries (LIB)

The County Treasurers (TR) retention schedule received updates from a taskforce of IARA staff and county treasurers who graciously offered to help.

The Public Libraries (LIB) retention schedule's cover sheet was updated, none of the record series changed.

You can find the updated county/local retention schedules available on the IARA website here.

IARA's Records Management section will continue to update and create county/local retention schedules as 2022 progresses and I look forward to working with the counties on these improvements.
