2020 Antioch Township Assessment Notices

2020 assessment notices are in the mail this week for property owners in Antioch Township. The assessment value changes in this township will also be published August 27th in the Lake County Journal. At the date of publication, 2020 values will be available online

The final filing date for assessment appeals in Antioch Township is September 29th. Property owners that decide to appeal must do so electronically. Property owners can appeal their assessment on their own through the Lake County Board of Review. No attorney is required for a residential appeal. Appeals can be done in a few minutes by using the new SmartFile E-Filing Portal.

Appeal Information

Prior to filing a formal appeal to the Board of Review, read, understand and check your notice for accuracy. Property owners should contact their local township assessors office to discuss their concerns.  Please call the office ahead of time to make sure they're open to the public before visiting in person. Note that there is a 30-day deadline from the date of publication to file an assessment appeal.

Property owners can also visit or the Chief County Assessment Office located at 18 N. County St., Waukegan to receive assistance.
