Waukegan/Beach Park, IL- The Lake County Division of Transportation will close Wadsworth Road underneath the Robert McClory Bike Path overpass to all traffic beginning Tuesday, May 26 at 6 a.m. The road is scheduled to reopen late in the afternoon Tuesday, June 9. This closure is necessary for storm sewer drainage repairs.
DETOUR ROUTE: Lewis Ave. to York House Road to Sheridan Road/IL Route 137. Local traffic will have access on Wadsworth Road from Lewis Ave. heading east and from Sheridan Road/IL Route 137 heading west to the construction zone. The construction zone will be closed to all traffic.
The Robert McClory Bike Path will remain open to pedestrian traffic.
