New Pilot Program Provides Path to License Reinstatement for Those Unable to Pay Fees & Fines

Red car

Individuals throughout the country are unable to restore or renew their driving privileges based on inability to pay outstanding fees and fines. Unable to drive, this often prevents them from obtaining or maintaining employment so they can support themselves and their family, and makes it difficult for these individuals to get back on the road as fees accumulate over time.

To combat this issue, Vice-Chair Mary Ross Cunningham and the Lake County Board, with support of its partners, have launched the new Road to Reinstatement Pilot Program, which provides qualified individuals the ability to get their driver's license renewed or reinstated.

Apply for the Program by the March 29 Deadline!
