From your Mailbox to the Ballot Box

WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Registered Lake County voters can now complete the required application to request a ballot by mail for the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election.

Voting by mail is an ideal choice for everyone as busy schedules or bad weather could stop you from getting to the voting site. This option is especially helpful for snowbirds, students away at school, and couch potatoes since your ballot can be mailed to any address. You only need to walk as far as your mailbox to cast your ballot.

It's simple to vote by mail. Complete the short, required application form and return it to the Lake County Clerk’s office before noon on Thursday, March 28.

Applications are available by:

Your voted ballot must be postmarked by Election Day. You can track the Lake County Clerk’s receipt of your application and ballot at LakeVoterPower.info using the “Track My Ballot” feature.
